Ahpooo
The Alternative Care Bear
Ahpooo, was born in 2000, in the Green Mountains of Vermont near the shores of Lake Champlain. He lived with his family,  Mom and two brother cubs for two years. As he grew he knew that there was something that he was suppose to do but could not figure it out. So he told his Mom and his two brother cubs, about the feeling deep down inside of him. His Mom and two brother cubs told him to be very quiet and the answer would come to him. So,  Ahpooo went down to the lake and sat, and waited to find out what was going on inside of him. He sat and sat and sat and finally fell asleep. When he woke up he knew what the feeling was all about. So he went back to where Mom and his two brother cubs were and told them what he had discovered during his sleep.

He told his Mom and his two brother cubs that he was suppose to be an  "alternative healing bear"  by another big lake with wooded hills all around it. But it was not in Vermont. It was a long ways away and he'd have to move to this new place. His Mom and two brother cubs were happy that he had discovered what he was suppose to do. So that told him that he must follow his "calling."

So, Ahpooo packed all his things in a little suit case and bought a train ticket out of Vermont. Ahpooo said good-by to his Big Woods in the Green Mountains and said good-by to Lake Champlain and got on an AMTRACs' Vermonter that was going to Springfield Massachusetts.

When Ahpooo got to Springfield he met a very wise college student, named Forest. Ahpooo knew that this man was special because of his name, and so the two of them talked and talked and talked.

Forest told Ahpooo that he was going to a place called the San Francisco Bay Area where he went to school. And he told Ahpooo about the Bay and the wooded hills all around the bay. Ahpooo, knew this is where he was suppose to go. So he purchased a ticket For the San Francisco Bay Area on the California Zephyr.

When Ahpooo arrived in the San Francisco Bay Area he set out to find his new home. Which he did, in a canyon in the Oakland Hills. Now that he had his home he knew he had to start his "healing" work. So one afternoon he went into Oakland where he met a man by the name of Bill.

Ahpooo and Bill talked and talked and when they were done talking Ahpooo knew that Bill was the one he should work with. So Ahpooo asked Bill if they could work together and do healing work. Bill thought about it for a while and told Ahpooo that he thought the partnership would be a good thing. So Ahpooo and Bill started to do their "healing" work together. And have been doing so ever since.

But as Ahpooo worked and healed people he began to become lonely. He missed his Mom and two brother bears back in Vermont. He knew that he could not go back to Vermont , because he was suppose to be in the San Francisco Bay Area.  So he decided to take a nap to think over what he should do.  He slept and slept and when he woke up he had the answer. He was suppose to go to San Francisco at night and there he would get his answer.

So one night Ahpooo went to San Francisco and he met another Bear there. This new bear's name was Kensington.
Kensington
Ahpooo and Kensington talked and talked and talked. Ahpooo found out that Kensington was from London and that he was a "Leather Bear". Ahpooo liked this for lots of reasons but the best reason he just liked Kensington. They talked and talked some more and by the end of the talk and talk and talk,  Ahpooo knew that he and  Kensington should form a partnership and live together. So Ahpooo asked Kensington what he thought of the idea. And Kensington said that he liked the idea and he really did like Ahpooo.

So the two bears moved back to Ahpooo's canyon in the Oakland Hills and there they live happily together.
